In her project "Il sarto immortale" (1997-2000) the
artist examines the outer shell of the body, the skin: She works
with photographs of her body on computer so that it fits into
various patterns. Printed onto material, these two dimensional
body pictures are tailored into a fashion collection, which,
via the clothes, examines the changing relation between the
